Peter’s relationship with digital art began in his early years of high school while taking a course in digital design. While he had worked with mediums such as colored pen and pencil, watercolor and charcoal, it was Photoshop that allowed him to visually project his imagination like never before.

Fortunately, Peter’s art teacher forgot to wipe the software off his computer once the course was completed which allowed him to continue developing his skills through a wide range of personal and professional projects for years to come. 

Around the same time that Peter discovered Photoshop, he also fell in love with surfing.

Growing up on the North Shore of Massachusetts, Peter takes pride in the hardy and optimistic surf culture that the region’s cold water and inconsistent swell produces. While his passion for surfing and his “earthy crunchy” upbringing have contributed to his love for the outdoors, Peter’s appreciation for the natural world has only strengthened as years of design have heightened his perception of its patterns, movement and color.

Recently, two distinct series characterized by their own individual art styles have risen to the forefront of Peter’s creations; The graphic design of landscapes with an occasional appearance from the alien dude, and the digital collages of surfing samurai.

The creation of this site and the decision to begin selling his artwork has come at a pivotal time in Peter’s life. After leaving a career in software sales, he now embarks on an adventure around the world fulfilling his lifelong dream of untethered travel. With luck, Peter’s art will help fund his journey as his new experiences continue to inspire his creations.
